About Better Balance Massage Clinic

Choose us for massage

We have skilled and dedicated therapists whose goal is getting you moving the way you should.

Your first session

Once you arrive for your Massage you will be asked to fill out a Client Intake Form. This assessment form is where you record any medical history, past/present injuries and other physical conditions we should be made aware of. Your massage therapist will greet you and review the Client Intake Form with you. They will inquire about the reason(s) you are coming for a massage, your current physical condition and any specific areas in which you are experiencing pain or would like addressed during your massage.

Principal therapist Manuel RodriguezAfter suffering a rock climbing accident in which I damaged my ankle I used massage as part of my rehabilitation and was amazed at the instant effect the manual therapy had on my recovery.

I enrolled to study at Meadowbank TAFE in Sydney and graduated in 1998. Getting out of the rat race that was Sydney I headed over to Perth and started working with Lifecare Physiotherapy and then had the opportunity to work at Grand Boulevard Chiropractic clinic in Joondalup and have been there ever since.

I specialize in managing and preventing musculoskeletal complaints ranging from headaches to lower back pain and common postural complaints. I really enjoy helping people leave my rooms pain free and moving more freely and comfortable. I have also been lucky enough to have worked with various travelling sporting teams such as the Irish rugby team and Melbourne Storm rugby league team.

I also teach at Endeavour College of Natural health and Challenger TAFE in their Diploma of Remedial Massage course.

As well as holding a Diploma of Remedial Massage I also hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal therapy) and Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.

Therapist Christina ReynoldsIn today's busy society I believe that massage is very beneficial and crucial, not just for the body but the mind as well.

I studied at Central Institute of Technology and successfully finished a 2 year full time course graduating with a Diploma in Remedial Massage. I have been a Remedial Massage Therapist at Grand Boulevard Chiropractic since August 2013. My studies have given me a lot of opportunities and I am pleased to be working with a fun and professional group of health and well-being practitioners.

I have a relaxed, caring and professional approach to my clients and my goal as a Therapist is to create a treatment specific to each individual's needs. I take great delight in seeing how drastically a person can change for the better, and feel very rewarded when I see them leave satisfied, relaxed and pain free.

Massage is a great way to release muscle spasms, eliminate toxins, reduce stress and tension, improve muscular performance and aid circulation. I like to incorporate the use of different techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish, sports & myofascial release.
